Habitat: In marsh area. With Cornus, Solidago, Sambucus, Helianthus, Trifolium, Plantago, Pilea, Taraxacum, Ambrosia, Echinocystis, Erigeron, Conyza, Asclepias, Rumex, Polygonum, Leersia, Mentha, Lycopus spp., Amaranthus, Carex spp., Aster spp. and other marsh species. Abundant in this wetland marsh habitat. Little shade. Soil black, rich, sodden humus.
