Habitat:
Excellent 40 acre acid bog. Partly floating, partly submerged peaty muck (cat's eye lake). Fine brown peat ooze, right in but near shore of bog lake, w/ Cyperus engelmannii, C. rivularis, Scirpus smithii, Dulichium arundicaneum, Eleocharis engelmannii, Juncus canadensis, Drosera intermedia, Brasenia schreberi, Nuphar sp., Hypericum majus, Triadenum fraseri, Lycopus uniflorus. Kettle hole depression Specimens of most plants listed are phenotypically dwarfed.
