Habitat: Growing at the margin of a Sphagnum bog, within 10 ft. of upland. Rooted in damp Sphagnum moss but hanging from sedge tussocks. Growing in transitional zone where bog meets upland. Associated with: Carex oligosperma, Carex lasiocarpa, Dulchium arundinaceum, Scirpus cyperinus, Triadenum fraseri, Lycopus uniflorus
