Habitat: Growing at the margin of a Sphagnum bog, within 10 ft. of upland. Plants growing in damp Sphagnum moss in a transitional zone where the bog meets the upland. Associates include: Carex lasiocarpa, Scirpus cyperinus, Dulchium arundinaceum, Triadenum fraseri, and Lycopus uniflorus.
