Habitat:
Former prairie and oak savanna prior to the 1840's. Swale: Acorus calamus, Iris virginica, Phalaris arundinacea, Cirsium muticum, Rumex mexicanus, and Salix thicket. The large Rumex filling the swale still has only the basal leaves. Sheet 1 of 2.
