Habitat: Sandy opening with Ambrosia atremisiifolia, Polygonum ramosissimum,Solanum carolinense. Large complex of mostly little disturbed river bottomland, ranging from floodplain forest of Acer saccharinum, Quercus bicolor, Lobelia cardinalis, to drier sandy openings with many prairie species, Andropogon gerardii, Panicum virgatum, Ambrosia artemisiifolia.
