Habitat: In or at edge of small shallow pool (1-3 inches deep) along hwy. Gravelly sandy soil in full sun. Surrounding ground packed graved - used by road crews for storing gravel etc. Leersia oryzoides, Polygonum hydropiper, Cyperus rivularis, and Eleocharis obtusa growing shallow water with cattails. Setaria glauca growing at edge. 3-5dm tall.
