Habitat:
In vicinity of flowing springs just E of pier. Ca. 100m ENE of cabin. At base of moraine slope ca. 50m N of fire ring. Ca. 25m W of big Quercus macrocarpa. Found with eupatorium spp., Verbena, Achillea, Cirsium, Rumex, Epilobium, Mimulus, Lycopus, Lobelia, Impatiens, Larix, Glyceria, Phalaris, Festuca, Carex spp., Cardamine. In wet lowland/ upland ecotone. No slope; no shade; sodden black marsh soil. Common.
