United States, Wisconsin, Walworth, Troy Center. Found about 50m west of the abandonned railroad trestle and 100m of the Mukwonago River. The preserve is located 1.25 miles NNE of Troy Center, east of Nature Rd.

Habitat:
Oak opening/ savanna on a southwest facing slope, growing in mostly sun. Canopy dominated by Quercus alba and ground layer dominated by Carex pensylvanica. Other associates include: Carya ovata, Prunus serotina (young). Anemone quinquefolia, Dodecantheon meadia, Geranium maculatum, Vicia americana, Podophyllum peltatum, Fragaria virginiana, Galium aparine, Agrimonia gryposepala, Luzula multiflora, Viola papilionacea, Viola pedatifida.
