Habitat:
Strip of southern wet-mesic forest following the 820 foot contour along lakeshore, red ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica var. pennsylvanica) the only dominant, hardly any individuals of the other tree spp. present except for very edge on upland side. Southern wet-mesic forest (Fraxinus nigra and Ulmus americana both very rare), with Carex projecta, Cinna arundinacea (common), Glyceria striata, Muhlenbergia sylvatica, Boehmeria cylindrica, Pilea pumila, Parthenocissus inserta, Circaea lutetiana ssp. canadensis, Epilobium coloratum, Sium suave, Cuscuta cuspidata, Aster lat. Very rare.
