Habitat: Brushy floodplain of river. With Napaea dioica, Acer negundo, Salix sp. Shrub 4 meters tall. Sapwood pale, soft; heartwood light brown; freshly cut wood with unpleasant wet-dog odor of Caprifoliaceae wood and Valerianaceae roots. Fruits green. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 46259
