Habitat:
Small outcrop of St. Peter sandstone about 10 feet tall. Shaded by Acer saccharum, Ulmus americana, Carya ovata, Quercus alba. With Parietaria pensylvanica, Diervilla lonicera, Polypodium virginianum, Mitella diphylla, Circaea quadrisulcata, Phryma leptostachya. Only a few outcrops of this sandstone on ridgetops in Richland Co. Slender shrub 2 meters tall
