Habitat: Dense rich wet wet prairie on huge outwash sand plain (lowest terrace); Spartina pectinata-locally dominant, with Anemone canadensis, Campanula aparinoides, Lycopus americanus, Galium obtusum ssp. obtusum, Poa palustris, Pycnanthemum virginianum, Osmunda regalis var. spectabilis, Rudbeckia subtomentosa, Salix petiolaris, Solidago gigantea, and Veronicastrum virginicum. All listed assoc. within 1 m of the Rubus. Plant 1, sheet 2 of 4. Plants relatively low, medium-stout; primocanes erect to erect-ascending; floricanes arching.[EXCLUDED from WI flora - see Checklist of the Vascular Plants of Wisconsin [Wetter, et al. 2001]]
