Habitat:
Open marshy shore of flowage at base of dike; in water 5 cm deep; sandy substrate; very open and sunny. No particular plant dominant, no tussock-forming carices present; assoc.: Eleocharis acicularis, Schoenoplectus pungens var. pungens, Polygonum punctatum, and Bidens cernua.
