Slope of old channel in middle of tall-grass prairie, a transition zone (with Carex vesicaria, Pilea pumila) between wet swale (filled with Typha latifolia) and dry-mesic prairie on swell (with Schizachyrium scoparium, Sporobolus heterolepis, etc.).
