Habitat: Along side of cornfield and at moister edges of dry prairie. Common. From a cordiform rhizome that produces many plants from stolons. Stems unbranched up to inflorescence, up to 3ft. tall. Inflorescence rhomboid, with branches bearing one-sided racemes of golden-yellow flowers. [See label for more]
