Habitat: RR prairie along river. Medium-good stand of dry prairie on undulating ground; Waukesha sandy loam, the surface layer here sandy, acidic, former RR. Usually (not always) on weedier, more open edges. Agropyron repens, Polygonatum biflorum, Silene sp., Melilotus alba, Euphorbia corollata, Vitis riparia, Cornus amomum ssp. obliqua, Asclepias verticillata, Monarda fistulosa. Glaucus leafy-stemmed biennial to 2.7m tall; flrs. lemon-yellow. Sheet 2 of 4.
