Habitat:
Along S side of path leading around cornfield to WSW of cabin, on S side of field ca. 20m to E of forest stand extending into field in area harboring dormant springs. Found with Solidago, Monarda, Vitis, Taraxacum, Cornus, Achillea, Trifolium, Crataegus, Fraxinus, Ulmus, grasses. Less common in moist sandy soil of wet meadow. Disturbed (drained) wetland. No slope, medium shade.
