Habitat: Dry prairie on SW-facing slope w/ sandy soil & loose rock, in middle of huge Rhus typhina (or T. Xpulvinata) clone, with Populus tremuloides sprouts, Quercus velutina grubs, Amorpha canescens, Anemone cylindrica, Dichanthelium oligosanthes,
Occurrence Remarks: Spklts. 1.8-1.9 mm; long hairs of upper sheaths 2.1-3.2 mm. Largest, most accessible prairie remnant on the Blue R. Bluffs.
