Habitat:
Abundant with R. longirostris, R. flabellaris x sceleratus hybrid; mostly on higher ground than R. flabellaris, on bare mud or in a few inches of water. In field cultivated last year and now partly flooded by a small, straightened creek. Stems nearly erect, spongy; leaves never floating on water surface, all merely lobed; flowers bright yellow.
