Habitat:
Abundant with R. longirostris, R. flabellaris x sceleratus hybrid; mostly on higher ground than R. flabellaris, on bare mud or in a few inches of water. In field cultivated last year and now partly flooded by a small, straightened creek. Stems nearly erect, spongy; leaves never floating on water surface, all merely lobed; flowers bright yellow. [sep. 3.6-4.3mm, pet. 4.2-4.5mm-TSC]
