Habitat:
Open wet spot in Fraxinus nigra swamp, bordering but separated from lake by narrow dune-like berm. Assoc.: Carex lupulina, C. retrorsa, Glyceria striata, Lysimachia thyrsiflora (abundant), Iris versicolor, Onoclea sensibilis, and Salix eriocephala. One clump of 12 fertile culms plus 6 sterile shoots; a second clump of 26 fertile culms plus 25 sterile shoots, 75 cm across in one direction, 90 cm in another. Sheet 2 of 2.
