Narrow wooded dune-like berm between lake edge and deciduous swamp. Assoc.: Amelanchier sp., Aster ciliolatus, Carex peckii, Cornus stolonifera, Equisetum arvense, Hieracium florentinum, and Shepherdia canadensis. Rare here, at base of berm in transition zone between berm and Fraxinus nigra swamp.
