Habitat: Wet to wet-mesic old field recovering to original prairie. Arnoglossum plantagineum-5 plants at this spot, Carex bebbii, Equisetum laevigatum, Helianthus grosseserratus, Lythrum salicaria-rare, Poa pratensis-dominant, Pycnanthemum virginianum, Solidago gigantea. Tract lies within a large block of DNR-owned grasslands (prairies, sedge meadows, fens, long-abandoned pastures and fields) that has the potential of becoming the largest and richest prairie in the state.
