Habitat: Edge of little-used, grown-over lane through bluff-top Quercus alba woodland (formerly an oak savanna); assoc.: Aquilegia canadensis, Corylus americana, Desmodium glutinosum, Galium concinnum, Helianthus strumosus, Lathyrus venosus, Rubus allegheniensis, Solidago ulmifolia, Veronicastrum virginicum, and Zanthoxylum americanum. Near the edge of one of the steeply rising, limestone-capped sandstone bluffs forming the N side of the Wisconsin River Valley. BER2004. Only one very small loose clump, consisting of about five stems.
