Habitat:
Along creek, formerly heavily pastured, with Acer saccharinum, Populus tremuloides, Acer negundo, Ulmus americana. Tree 10m tall, a clump of trunks from base, the trunks straight, erect or somewhat leaning, up to 30cm in diameter. Twigs brittle at base. Mature leaves. Female.
