Habitat: Partly wooded, Acer saccharinum, Ulmus americana (now dead), lowland pasture along banks of river. With Poa, Ribes missouriense, Xanthoxylum americanum, Phalaris arundinacea, Rorippa sylvestris, Carex spp. Tree with single trunk 30 cm. diam. Now fallen and side branches growing upward to 6 m. tall.
