Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Large virgin wet-mesic prairie (25 acres), quite flat w/ seasonally flooded shallow depressions, surrounded by ag lands on all sides. Soil: dark-colored loam with sandy clayey loam subsoil and a large amount of organic matter. Shallow narrow ditch forming S boundary (still part of natural area), filled with thicket-forming vegetation, including: Phalaris arundinacea, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Prunus americana, P. virginiana, Salix interior, S. rigida, Convulvulus sepium, Galium obtusum var. ramosum, Apocynum sibiricum. Some plants have longer petioles and would key to A. cannabinum.
