Habitat:
With ULmus americana, Acer rubrum, A. negundo in brushy bottom of small valley, formerly grassy and mowed, abandoned ca. 25yrs ago. Slender shrub 5m tall, 9cm. diam.; bark peely-flaky. Fruit yellow-green, then red, edible, sweet and tasty. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 46257.
