Habitat: Upland Forest on sandy bank on E side of the Brule River and W of Len Root Road. Growing in Boreal Forest in upland sandy boreal woods formed on bank of the Brule River with Abies balsamea, Pinus strobus, Alnus incana, Cornus sericea, Diervilla, Vaccinium angustifolium, Anemone canadensis, Carex pensylvanica, Streptopus lanceolatus, etc. Streptopus lanceolatus, etc.
