Habitat: Grass (Phalaris arundinacea dom.)-sedge (Carex stricta subdom.) marsh forming very narrow zone right at bottom edge of steep weedy artificial bank of ditch bordering large bog. Assoc. Calamagrostis canadensis, Glyceria canadensis, Poa palustris, Juncus canadensis, J. effusus, Salix humilis, Betula papyrifera saplings, Rumex orbiculatus, Spirea alba, S. tomentosa, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Lycopus uniflorus, Mentha arvensis, Scutellaria lateriflora, Linaria vulgaris, Galium sp., Campanula aparinoides, Achillea millefolium, Cirsium arvense, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Solidago graminifolia.
