Habitat: In grassy weedy area on back side. Fine if smallish stand of upland hardwoods on relatively deep soil (Miami Silt Loam). Acer saccharum dom., Fagus grandifolia subdom., w/ Tilia americana, also Ostrya virginiana, Prunus serotina, and, in one wetter area, Tsuga canadensis. 3 or 4 plants only, forming a small colony.
