Locality:
United States, Wisconsin, Dane, Black Earth. On outskirts of Black Earth, on N side of bypass (new hwy).
Habitat:
Garden run wild (or piece of original lowland prairie??) near small house, right next to road. Ca. 60 plants now, now in full bloom. With Asclepias syriaca, Paeonia hybrida, Helianthus (?) strumosus. Plants 1m tall; flowers deep rose.
