Habitat: Low floodplain woods of Acer saccharinum, A. negundo, Fraxinus pensylvanica, F. nigra, Quercus bicolor, Salix sp. Shrub 5m tall, 12cm. in. diam. Petals white, center of flower either yellow-green or red. Anthers dark reddish. [Determined as Crataegus cocinea L. var. fulleriana (Sarg.) J. Macklin & J.B. Phipps by J.A. Macklin, 2000]
