Habitat:
Ten-acre fen surrounded by southern sedge meadow, part of a 450-acre wetland. Assoc.: Campanula aparinoides var. aparinoides, C. aparinoides var. grandiflora, Galium labradoricum, Gentianopsis procera (frequent), Menyanthes trifoliata, Rhamnus frangula (rare), Salix candida (infrequent), S. discolor (patches here and there), Solidago uliginosa, Sparganium eurycarpum, and Utricularia intermedia. Corolla pink in bud, white in anthesis with roseate base; anthers light yellow. Common.
