Habitat: Stabilized roadside ditch, well reverted toward sedge meadow, on low lying, poorly drained black loamy sand (Dunning Sand) next to extensive sedge meadow. Carex aquatilis dominant, w/ C. scoparia and Scirpus cyperinus the other Cyperaceae present. Calamagrostis canadensis, Glyceria canadensis, Juncus canadensis, Salix discolor, S. petiolaris, S. pyrifolia, Comptonia peregrina, Potentilla simplex, Rubus hispidus, Spiraea alba, S. tomentosa, Epilobium angustifolium, Oenothera perennis, Lysimachia terrestris, Lycopus americanus, Lycopus uniflorus, Campanula aparinoides, Aster simples, Erigeron annuus, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Helianthus giganteus, Solidago gigantea, S. gymnospermoides. Very Common. Sheet 2 of 3. Campanula population 27.
