Habitat: Wet prairie, dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis (most abundant), Andropogon gerardii (some what less abundant), Spartina pectinata (least abundant of the big grasses), also Poa palustris, Elymus virginicus, Muhlenbergia mexicana. Never grazed nor plowed, but last year dried up in the drought & accidentally burned.
