Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Intermittent ditch (straightened streamlet) passing between cultivated fields, now dryish but mucky in the bottom (wetter earlier in the season). Assoc.: Typha angustifolia, Alisma plantago-aquatica s.l., Carex stipata, Phalaris arundinacea, Polygonum sp., Ranunculus pensylvanicus, Lysimachia ciliata, Verbena hastata, and Solanum dulcamara. Hybrid bracteoles present but slender; hairs slightly brownish; stigmas intermediate in width; frully formed fruits quite numerous. Sheet 1 of 3.
