Habitat:
Shallow, boggy, vegetation-filled lake (max. depth 6 ft., 90% of lake less than 3 ft. deep). Associated spp. in water: Elodea nuttallii, Brasenia schreberi, Myriophyllum verticillatum, Decodon verticillatus var. laevigatus, Utricularia intermedia, U. gibba (abundant), and U. vulgaris. Associated spp. on exposed bar of mud-like peat at edge of Decodon verticillatus colony: Eleocharis erythropoda, E. olivacea, and Utricularia gibba.
