Habitat: Muddy access lane between soybean fields, original vegetation of moist thickets and wet-mesic prairies, the lane now with a mixture of native and introduced weedy species: Eragrostis frankii, Polygonum persicaria, and Bidens vulgata in tire tracks; Carex vulpinoidea, Trifolium pratense, Plantago rugelii, Aster lateriflorus, A. pilosus, Solidago canadensis, and S. riddellii on center hump and edges.
