Habitat:
moist to wet sunny shores of lake, a shallow alkaline seepage lake with a somewhat unique plant association that includes Atlantic Coastal Plain species. Moist (upper side w/ Poa compressa, Carex scoparia, Potentilla norvegica,. Aster longifolius) to wet (near water's edge, w/ Spiraea tomentosa, Stachys palustris, Lobelia kalmii, Solidago remota, Eupatorium perfoliatum) sandy shore.
