Habitat:
Extensive lowland prairie on huge outwash sand terrace. Dry-mesic segments dominated by Andropogon scoparius, Sporobolus heterolepis & Koeleria macrantha (on low swells) grading to wet segments dominated by Andropogon gerardii, Panicum virgatum & Spartina pecinata ( in shallow swales).
