Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Located on a N slope and on silt loam soil. Ostrya virginiana and Ulmus species woods associated with virgin beech-sugar maple woods. The understory is much the same except that grasses and sedges are present here. Sheet 2 of 2. This collection represents a gigantic form of R. allegheniensis, which may warrant supbspefic recognition after more complete study. The earlies validly published taxa describing this gigantic form are R. auroralis and R. longissimus.
