Habitat: In saturated to wet soil in open field used for grazing cattle. Springs apparently account for the wet soil. Aster umbellatus & Cirsium muticum common throughout. Oxypolis rigidior, Pedicularis lanceolata, Veronia fasciculata & Lycopus spp. also occuring
Occurrence Remarks: 1-2m tall, very purple flowers.
