Semi-open moist shaded flat at base of E-facing dolomite cliff supporting mesic hardwoods. Under Juglans nigra with Aster cordifolius, Solidago flexicaulis, Campanula americana, Circaea quadri. [this specimen also reads] Slightly open, moist and shaded. flat depression in mesic hardwood forest.
