Habitat:
Along trail on grassy, shrubby, steep N-facing slope, with Poa pratensis (dominant), Andropogon scoparius (subdominant), with Ranunculus rhomboideus, Rhus glabra, Vitis riparia, Viola "palamata". Prairie - long, curving sandstone ridge capped by a thin rocky layer of limestone with large, high-quality dry prairie on portions of N-facing slopes all across top.
