Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Sawyer, Floating 50 acre bog island in Lake Chippewa, Chippewa Flowage. The island is moved by storms through Sections, 14, 22, 23, 26, 27.

Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Open bog with Sphagnum, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Myrica gale, Vaccinium oxycoccus, V. macrocarpon, Andromeda glaucophylla, Kalmia polifolia, Sarracenia purpurea. Thickets and groves of Alnus rugosa, Betula glandulifera,. Larix laricina, Picea mariana, Betula papyrifera (tress to 12m. tall!). In marshy area near edge of island with Impatiens capensis, Bidens. Rare.
