Verbatim Coordinates: T17N R10E sec30 SW4;
Habitat: Very wet and mucky soil with very little sand. R. scirpoides is located on the sandier areas about 6 feet inland parallel to the shoreline in full sunlight on the S side of the lake. Water level very low and varies seasonally. Water pH = 6.37, water. temperature = 30.4 degrees Celsius. Associated plants: Fimbristylis autumnalis, Scirpus smithii and others. BER2004. Sparse population (about 50 to 100 plants).
