United States, Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Milwaukee. Between Cambridge Ave. and E bank of Milwaukee River. N & S borders of woods are E. Providence and E. Hamshire St. respectively.
Habitat:
Located in a woods on E bank of river. With maple, beech and basswood. A branching shrub 2-4 m. high. Bark smooth or slightly scurfy. Flowers in autumn. Fruit a capsule which ejects seeds.
