Habitat: Southern cattail marsh (Typha angustifolia dominant, w/sedges and grasses);divisible into 3 poorly marked zones resulting from increasing water deptht. C) Inner cattail zone, with Typha angustifolia (abundant, dominant),. Polygonum punctatum, Penthorum sedoides, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Galium trifidum, Campanula aparinoides var. grandiflora. Forming narrow, almost mat-like colony on open water (lakeside), edge of habitat C.
