Habitat: Prairie on lower bluff slopes, with few weeds, some rare plants, such as Psoralea esculenta, Aretmesia frigida, A. dracunuloides, Muhlenbergia cuspidata, Eupatorium altissimum. WIth Artemesia caudata, A. leudoviciana, Solidago nemoralis, S.rigida,.
